GT500 Spoiler or Pedestal Spoiler?
So for my next mod I'm thinking about a new spoiler for my 2013 Sterling Gray mustang. Right now its just the stock spoiler but I need some help choosing. Should I stick with what I have, or get the GT500 spoiler or the GT/CS Pedestal spoiler?
I've wanted the GT500 one for a while but I'm worried it may be too big. I've seen pics at a lower angle from the rear of the car and it looks a bit awkward, but otherwise I love it.
So I just want everyone else's opinion. Thanks!
I've attached a picture of my car stock on the back and the other spoilers, which credit is given to whosever they are! lol

I went from the 3d carbon brand to the OEM gt500 wing because its smaller and less aggressive. They are both still great spoilers.
I did a comparison write up of the two side by side. I'm sure if you search, it's still there.

Just found it. That's great information, yeah I'd definitely want to go with the OEM one, its just more work and expensive finding one and getting it painted (unless I find one in my color). So I need to keep my eyes open

Also, once you drill holes for the pedestal and you decide to switch to the gt500 style wing, (either brand) the gt 500 spoiler will not cover up the pedestals mounting holes. Just an FYI.

Thanks I don't think I'm going to do the pedestal spoiler most likely now that I know the difference of the oem and 3d carbon GT 500 spoiler

Yeah you will have 8 holes with a pedestal and wont be able to go back.
I never knew that about the 3D Carbon vs OEM. I have an OEM and probably would go with the 3D if I had known. I love my OEM but a little more pop would be nice too

Is the 3d just bigger than oem? Is that the only difference?

Among other differences, the 3d carbon wing has sharper more aggressive corners. The corners come to sharp points almost like bat wings on the left and right side of the decklid. The OEM has rounded corners and sits a heck of a lot lower than the 3d.
Looking out the rearview mirror was the most drastic realization of their size difference and how they sit on the decklid.

I prefer the pedestal spoiler, which I was able to order from the factory on my 2013 GT. However, if you do go with an OE pedestal, the rear view looks much better with the Boss/CS rear diffuser, which i added myself.
I've installed a couple pedestal spoilers myself, including one for my old 2012 Boss and one for my wife's 2011 V6 MCA, so if you need any install tips, just ask.
Below are all of them.

I have both the Pedestal and the 3D Carbon. I had the stock spoiler originally. The pedestal spoiler I got off Ebay. It was super cheap thats the only reason. But then I did the unthinkable and drilled the holes. Worst mistake I have made with my car. Now I can't go back and I really dont like the Pedestal spoiler anymore.
Eventually I will have to get those holes filled and the trunk repainted once I get around to it. So unless you really LOVE the Pedestal look, go with the GT500 or 3D Carbon. That's what I will be doing as soon as I can.

Here's a side by side comparison of the two. (Forgive my stock rims)
3d carbon is on the stock rims and OEM is on my black TT rims.
Note the width of the spoilers and how they sit at different angles. Look at how the wing tips meet the decklid.
