That Is not true I know that much. The entire black mamba kit is $3000 and that hood is the better part of $1700, so I don't know where you got your prices from but you're WAAAYYYYY off.

I found that kit after I posted my question so that's the only reason I know it's way cheaper than 4-5k

Oh I was just guestimating I saw the black mamba before but put it off my list mainly on price and the fact that the grill still has the cobra silhouette.

I did the same exact thing! From the prices on ford parts it can be done for around 800-900, that is if our stock hoods will work with the different grill surround

The hoods are different you can find them on eBay and craigslist, take offs and there are the super snake copies.

I thought the hood had a different line to it in the front but wasn't positive. I think this might be my next project over the winter.

there are takeoffs constantly for sale on fleabay. there is one vendor in michigan that has great prices on GT500 take off parts, but it's local pickup only. could be a fun roadtrip though.

Ive heard of guys putting the GT parts on the V6's all the time. As a matter of fact I have a GT bumper painted Kona Blue that I would be willing to part with. I put the Roush Fascia on my car. $150 plus shipping. Shipping would pobably cost around $90 depending on where you are. Might be willing to meet you if you are less than 6 hours away! I love a good road trip! The Roush Fascia on Ebay is an option for you as well. I got my for about $350 shipped. It was already painted and was a takeoff. I posted a thread about it on the forums in the Exterior mods section.

Im sorry I didn't read the title correctly ! You are looking for a GT500 bumper. I did some research before getting my roush bumper and if you get the gt500 bumper you have to get the hood to. The grill surround on the GT500 goes up and is a part of the front of the hood. A V6 or GT hood will not work with the GT500 front bumper. I saw a few hoods on Ebay but no bumpers and hoods. Youll have to buy them separate and probably not Kona blue.
