Grille swap from pony package to performance package

Hey all,

I just got my performance package grille today for my '13 and I tried to install with the "yank as hard as you can until the grille pops out" method, but wasn't able to pull the grille out. Is there a secret to doing it this way? Would it be easier/faster/safer to just take off the bumper?

I know there is a recent post about grilles, but that one focused on the Roush grille, which has clips that need to be attached from the rear.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Lol, so I figured it out. I just pulled the grille quite hard and the it popped right out. I'm quite pleased with the result.
