Good deal on Toyo Proxes 4 plus right now

If anyone is looking for tires, tiresdirect.net has a deal for free shipping on Toyo Proxes 4Plus right now. I just picked up 2x255/35R20 and 2x295/30R20 for $677 to my door. Not bad. Tire gets good reviews and I wanted an all season. Ill review them once they're on!

Please let me know how they turn out! I may get my hands on a set soon in a wheel purchase deal (Same sizes) My biggest concern is about GRIP!

But to be honest there is not a whole lot of options for this specific size tire...unless you go with the more expensive Michelin PSS.

I have those tires in that size and I bought from them, and I love them.

I have the proxes 4 's in those sizes, mounted on my Shelby 56 wheels. Got them for my 2010 GT. Have not put them on the car this year as the wheels are waiting to have some cosmetic surgery. This will be the fourth season and there is plenty of tread left. Great tire for the price !!

How is the grip from a dig (0-60 etc)
Im contemplating on changing out the rear ones to the T1R's in a 305-30-20 size for more grip in the summer and put the Proxes-4+ back on in the colder months.

I do not have these tires yet, but the wheels Im buying come with these tires already mounted on them.

Doug, take the Boss for a ride so you can see how they are.

You'll have to wait though, my car is in pieces again.

I have no complaints about them, but I don't beat the ever living **** out of my Mustang either.

FedEx just dropped off the tires. Ho. Lee. Chit! The 295s look WIDE as hell compared to the little 235s on there now!

Got mine put on yesterday...not as much grip as I was hoping.
The sidewall is pretty soft too....feel a lot of sway when doing "slolom" type movements.
BUT, they were inexpensive and they are more quiet than the GY F1 tires.

Should offer more mileage too, and better grip when the colder months come around.
Will probably switch out the rears for a set of 305-30 T1Rs in the spring!
