Front Splash Guards

Ordered these front Splash Guards from over at RPI Designs. Were less than $30 shipped. I cringed every time I ran through sand or anything when it would beat against my doors and I could feel the paint being ripped away!

In any case they aren't as good as my Accord's splash guards but they do seem to help some.

If any of you guys out there feel your paint is degraded with each drive these are well worth it!

I will add they aren't as nice as another set I've seen on here, they don't have the clips that hook into the fender, but I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts and picked up some automotive push pins and drilled a couple holes and pushed them in and they hold perfectly! They come with some sticky 3M tape that just doesn't hold well with all the dirt and sand

Yeah these are cheap insurance, especially if you have the Brembo package or wider aftermarket wheels. My rocker panels took a beating before I installed mine:

I couldn't imagine having a '13 with painted rockers... They'd be eaten alive here

I started to order those, but I got this set for around $28 and had a Paypal gift card for $25 so for $3 I can't complain

+1

I have a 2000 Accord as a daily driver and they have really nice beefy splash guards. I got the one from American Muscle for my 2013 'Stang but it's really thin and flimsy looking compared to the Accord, but there aren't many options out there. Also they don't match the stiffness of the GT500 Shelby ones that came with the car on the rear, but oh well.

I installed a used set of the GT500 rear flaps on my 2011, and like them. After installing a set of larger than stock tires, they do help in the stone/mud fling.

I've yet to see anything that matches these rear flaps for the fronts.

These match okay, and they really do help with sand, grit, mud and other crap from getting on the side of the car

Here you go... It's just more expensive to go this route;

I'm really leaning towards the RPI flaps because of the price. I hate detailing my car for 4 hours only to see dirt all over the rockers after I get back from a spin

I'm happy with the RPI flaps, I did have to put a couple plastic automotive push pins to cut down on the flapping in the wind. The clear 3M tape they sent just didn't hold when sand and grit got in there...

I have the jaeger bros. They look good, use factory mounting pins, and hold up pretty well. I have had them on for a year. They aren't as thick as the factory rears, but they definitely add protection for the rockers.

Looks interesting. I guess its one of those things I never thought about needing. Does anyone with the 13 or 14 painted rocker panels have first hand experience on whether or not these are worth it?

I did the Jaegar Bros. splash guards. A bit pricey, but cheaper than messed up paint! Install was a no brainer, they've been on a long time with no fitment issues.

I installed the Jaeger Brothers splash guards today. Very high quality material and a very solid four part attachment system. Ten minutes to install.

It is thinner then the stock splash guards on the rear, but it seemed quite strong and well made - as I looked at the attachment system.
