Forgestar F14's from AmericanMuscle?
have a few questions for those who have or thinking of purchasing Forgestar wheels from American Muscle:
1. AM offers 19X9 and 19X10, which is the size of wheels on the LS boss 302. Are the 19X9 semi concave and the 19X10 deep concave like the forgestar website describe?
2. is the combo of semi concave and deep concave the popular style most go on this wheel?
3. AM calls the color "Gloss Black", while Forgestar calls them "Piano Black", are they the same?
4 AM offers "TPMS Sensor kit" for each wheel and says its recommended for +07 years. what exactly is this? is it needed?
5. will the stock tires of front: 255/40/19 and rear: 285/35/19 fit the 19X10 rear wheel?
sorry, car is a 2012 CO Boss 302

2. Not my preference
3. I believe they are different
4. Use your own, as you will be breaking your tires off anyway.
5. God to go

i called and they told me the 19X10 is deep concave, although the saleman didnt act so sure of himself. but the Forgestar website states they are deep concave. i agree with you, prefer the semi concave all around after looking at this forum members car:

if i have to go w/a square setup of 19X9 to get the semi concave look, what is the biggest size of tire i can go on the back? the boss comes w/19X9 w/a 285 in the rear.

1. The 19x9s are semi-concave and 19x10s are a deep concave. (I just triple checked. We have a set on an S197 in our parking lot.)
2. The semi-deep and deep (staggered) are the most popular style to go with, for sure! I love the difference in stance and that's what would go on my own GT!
3. Gloss black = Piano black, sorry for the confusion!
4. TPMS stand for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Like mentioned above you can use the factory TPMS sensors if you take your factory wheels apart. If you want to leave the stock wheels alone then we suggest purchasing the TPMS Sensor Kit.
5. Those tire sizes will be fine on a 19x9 & 19x10 rim, too.
Hope this helps! Let me know if there's anything else I need to clear up. I think this is most of the info that you'll need, but if you have any last minute questions or anything - that's what I'm here for!
