F14's

So I just got a quote for a set of F14's in the new Graphite Black finish. They quoted me about $1600 for 19x9.5 in the front and 19x11 for the rear. Sound reasonable?

That sounds pretty good to me, I always thought they were super expensive. I may sell my RTRs for a set if I can get 10.5 or 11s out back

Who gave you the quote?? The reason I ask is that Forgestar has told me that the 19x9.5 does not clear the brembo brakes? Does your car have brembo's?

Don't ask me why 19x9 and 19x10 does clear and 19x9.5 does not?

There is part of me that wondered if they just were low on stock in the deep concave 19x9.5.

Sorry, I see in your signature that you do have the brembo. I would double check on the 19x9.5 fitment again for the front.

Let us know what you find out.

Response I got...

The main issue will be the 19x9.5 front wheel. The 19x9.5 is a "deep concave" wheel designed for rear fitment. Forgestar didn't take into account how popular these wheels would be within the Mustang community when they designed the 19x9.5.

We can make this wheel fit, but the perfect size would be a 19x9.5 +40. However, since the wheel is "deep concave" and I need to clear the Brembo Brakes, I'm forced to go with a 19x9.5 +35, which is a more aggressive fitment then I would like. But since you are only planning to run a 255 tire, it shouldn't be much of an issue. If you were trying to fit a 275 on the front, I would have to recommend against it.

This will also affect the rear sizing. You do not want to have the front wheels with an aggressive fitment and the rear wheels with a conservative fitment. It will look strange. I would recommend a 19x11 +55 to achieve the proper look but still give enough room for the suspension drop and the 315 tire.

Recommended sizing:

19x9.5 +35 / 19x11 +55

This is a new route I want to go.

I want to run a 19x9 in the front due to (9.5 sizing issues) with a 255/40/19 and 19x11 in the rear with 315/30/19.

I also plan on runing the Eibach Pro Kit springs and struts. The company said to get an nice flush aggressive look I will need to run a +55 in the rear and +35 in the front. Does this sound right or should I go with a diff setup?

Going the F14 route just cause it seems impossible to find the RTR wheels in stock anywhere. And I can get these with the new finish and 19x11 in the rear.

Apparently I have no idea where to buy these tires at. Discount nor Tire Rack show any tires in those sizes.

$1600 for the wheels/tires or just wheels? May consider switching wheels in the future..

I just pulled the trigger on a set of 20x9 20x10.5 in the Graphite Black finish. Steep price but only live once right? Now to find some tires for these things.

+35 is not aggressive.

The Brembo wheel is +42mm and the RTR wheel is +33mm, so it's actually more tucked in than the RTR wheel, and more pushed out than the Brembo wheel, in other words, perfect. lol

18's run about 1300, 19s around 1600, and 20s run about 2000

315's in the rear will fit and look awesome but running a 30 series tire will shorten the overall height to 26.5". The 255/40/19 will be 27" tall.
Better to run 315/35/19.
