To Drill or Not To Drill.. Thats the ...
Well I am trying to convince myself to put a Roush hood scoop on my car. I have a 2014 RR GT. But I think it will look good with a SCOOP?

Hey Jazzman442
Just my 2 cents worth.
1) Pick up a used hood and go for it. If your not happy with the look you can return to factory look. No harm No foul.
2) However if you do like the look, then its time to add some paint.
3) Or get someone on the site to photo shop your car with the scoop.
To me I am a fan of scoops. As long as they fit the car and look. But my taste means nothing.

I have been trying to figure out for years why Roush insists on putting scoops on their cars ???
.
IF I ever considered putting a scoop on a car, it would have to be needed & functional.

I like the look, but I guess I should, I bought a Roush with the scoop. I do wish it was functional. Not sure why they would not want to make one that was, but I would guess their focus is on the super charged cars. Don't need function there.
OP make sure you have a way out. I too would suggest finding a second/replacement hood and use it for the install. From what I can tell there is minimal holes in the hood. Mainly at the back. Rest is held in place by 3M double sided tape. I have heard that you need to be careful on the install or the tape will show with a gap between the hood and the scoop. Not so on the Roush installed scoops.
Good luck. Make the car yours. Do what you want, and don't let others sway what you like or want.
