Smile Done, but still missing something...

Finally got my GT/CS valance and Roush grille put on today. The install was super easy, took 1 hour 45 minutes by myself. Did not require any help. I was worried about not having the Push Pin Removal Tool, and felt pretty stupid when I started working on it and the pins popped right out with a flathead screwdriver. If you do both mods, use the Roush Grill instructions until you get to the reinstall section, then do the valance. It was so easy, and I have to say it totally changes the looks of a car, especially in person. I don't think the pics quite do it justice.

Now if I can offload these PPNLA wheels and get something darker on there, I will be DONE with the exterior. They are just too shiny/whitish for me. I have a link in the for sale section if you're interested...

Yea, thought about it, and decided I want to do the side splitters at the same time, IF I decide to do the front splitter. We'll see how this look grows on me, the splitter may come sooner rather than later

I know, I know. Might have to wait till next tax season, at over 1K for the whole setup. It's near the lower end of my priorities, regardless, wheels first

That's understandable, especially if you want to drop it the "right way."

I went the "cheap way" with only springs + adj. panhard bar. No complaints so far

Personally, I love your stockers and I think they would go really nice with your car if painted flat black

I've been poking around the different Raxiom threads, they don't seem to pull much support. Thanks though. Can't wait to sell these wheels!

Nice job!

I just ordered the CS fascia yesterday.
I was on the fence, thinking I'd put it off for a bit, but AM hit me with their $15 off email yesterday, and I figured what the heck.

I'm too chicken to remove the front of my car, though.
I had it dropped shipped to a place that's doing some paintwork on my car next month.

I was going to do the Boss splitter, too, but I'll just try this for now, and see what I think.

I agree on the wheels.
I have the stock 18"s, and they need to go. Same reasons, too bright.
Originally I was thinking black Bullitts, but now I'm leaning to some take-off GT500 or Boss wheels.

That's going to have to wait for a while.

My mod wod is blown for quite a while now.

looks great man. Now just lower it and put the 19x10 version of your wheels on the rear and it would be sick. I love the OEM look, just crossing my fingers for a 19x10 version on the brembo wheels to come out.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't shell out 300-600 dollars plus tires to gain an inch and a half of tread width, of the same type semi stock rim. That is craziness. Might as well get a full set of TSW's at that rate. Thinking these, they look awesome on a visualizer I saw the other day: http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-tir...ck%20Flat.html
Probly go 19x8.5 up front and 19x10 in back.

I thought about a grill pony, but decided i wanted it all blacked out completely. If I get bored of the look maybe I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the feedback folks

Car looks really good, and I also love that high you get when you do it yourself.
