Large wheels make the car look smaller and lower.
Besides, wheels are much nicer to look at than a dirty rubber tire.

And I don't like the look of the GT500 wheels on the 2010. They're not bad, but not my cut of tea. Normally on a fast car, you wouldn't want anything over 18" b/c of the weight. (Unless you're not as into the speed factor as I am.) 18"s would be just enough to get upgraded breaks and not weigh as much. I also hate full on chrome wheels. Weighs too much, looks ok, costs more than your first born child, and scratches show way too easily. Chrome accents look nice though!

I got to take the GT-6 on a cruise during the summer here are Pictures I took on the Cruise. Pretty cool car!
