As I write this I'm in the process of making a front plate mount. I wanted something that I could quickly remove and install. I came up with this. Goes on an off in about a minute. With no tools at all. I'm real proud of how it's coming along. About to paint it now. I'll put up a few pics first.

I don't have the parts in the pics but on each side there is gonna be about a 4" piece with a wing nut, acting as a clamp. So it will clamp to the lower facia. It sounds bad. But it's actually very sturdy. You would think it was bolted on

That looks like really sharp work, and it's a straightforward and apparently sturdy design. You could probably sell these - other than the retractable ones (around a hundred bucks for the powered and fifty for the manual, which I have) I've seen the version made by Craig which are also apparently easily removable. They sell for around fifty dollars also, I think.

I've really thought about it. If I could sell them for 40-50 I would. It's easy and good quality. So if anyone wants one just let me know

At around forty they'd probably move. One question at this point would probably be whether they'd fit the '13 lower fascia.

What about the holes left from the bumper-mounted bracket? I bought those bumper plug things.

question about "bumper plug things"

Hi guys:

Are the bumper plug things you are discussing at the end of this thread caps that go in the small holes from the factory in the Mustang front bumper? If so where can I get them, do they come in factory colors or do I paint them? My car is a 2013 Race Red GT/CS coupe.

Thanks for your time.

Ken

Got them at the auto parts store. You can jut paint them with some touch up paint

its really low and is going to block some of the cooling air coming in to the radiator. but if you dont road race it probably wont effect it enough for you to notice.

It does look almost exactly like the craigs bracket.....

I took that into account. But then I realized I took out the smothering stock grill that blocks the majority of the air so I just said oh well it would make of more that enough. My wide band doesn't how any differences in temp.
