Custom Matte Black Hood Stripe Added

I finally got around to designing my hood stripe after the 1970 Mustangs. My striper finished it today, so here are some new photos. The stripe matches the Hoodscoop and trim ring perfectly in color.

Was this done from a standard stencil? Thinking of doing something very similar since my silver vinyl stripes are going bad but on a power dome hood, it may not flow as well.

That looks really good! I have a black Vert on order right now and man, that shaker looks really good on there! Might be something I save my pennies for...

Actually, I designed it using the basic shape from a shaker Hood 1970 Mustang, and readapted it via a CAD program at my stripers office. I went with a 1" stutter stripe and just curved the back to shape the stripe with the shaker hood.

Wish you stripe guy was here in SoCal! Nice work! I had been looking at the commercial stencils out there but, will likely go with a unique design but I loved the way yours flows with the shaker!

Thanks again! I appreciate all the nice comments. I am almost done now...just ordered the Boss 302/CS rear diffuser. My dealer offered to me at $115.00 and he said that they would install it for $20.00! How can I go wrong! Then I am done for the time being.

I like the look. What are the dimensions of that stripe. What is the gap and pin size?

Wow, what dealership? Is that offer only for you, or open to everyone?
