Cold Weather Tires for 2013 Shelby GT500

Looking for some cold weather tires for our 2013 Shelby and not finding much that will fit. Not looking for snow tires, just some all season tires mounted on wheels that'll clear the brakes so we can drive on dry winter days.

Any suggestions? Everything I've found online so far for the Shelby are summer only tires.

I can't believe that nobody here has swapped out the GYs on their 2013s for all season tires. I did eventually find the following thread on the GT500 forums.

2013 Shelby All Season Tires

I'm still looking for a decent set of rims to mount these on so I don't have pull the GYs off the stock rims.

Does anybody know if the 2010-2012 Shelby non-SVTPP stock wheels will fit on the 2013 Shelby? More specifically, will the 19" rear wheels clear all the brakes? I'm assuming the backspacing & offset are the same.

We're looking at these chrome wheels for our car. I just wish I could get an answer from anybody if they will fit or not. The people at SVT could not tell me what the minimum rear wheel size needs to be. The only thing they told me is that they don't recommend any size wheel other than the stock wheel that comes on the car.

We are also considering the Shelby CS56 hyper silver wheels. I like these wheels better. Our concern here is running 20" wheels up front.

Is there a site that has the wheel specs for the GT500? I'd like to know the stock size ID, backspacing & offset.

I dont see why they wouldnt fit. Call up AM and ask if they would clear the brakes. I think the 13' brakes were upgraded so I dont know if they're bigger then the 12 ones.

I did get an answer from Ford regarding putting the 2012 Shelby wheels on the 2013 Shelby. They will fit without interference. However, Ford discourages putting any wheels on your vehicle other than the size that put on by the factory.

Back to Tires

I'm not having much luck finding decent cold wather tires for our 2013 Shelby in standard equipment sizes. If I drop down to 19" wheels front & back, there seem to be more options.

ANYBODY replace the stock GYs to improve cold-weather traction?

Thats like saying we cant upgrade to wider tires then stock. Not gonna happen, getting different size rims or whatever is fine as long as you get the proper tire size that wont make it taller or shorter.
