It seems to me,due to their lack of action on producing the long promised fog light kit and brake cooling kit for the 2010-2011 chin spoiler, that a ducktail will not be forthcoming. I think ,perhaps they have jumped on producing parts for the new Camaro or they are just spread too thin to get on new mustang products.

They are making a SMALL aluminum Lip spoiler that can be seen on the Mustang RTR and thats all they have planned for this time.

In this youtube video is said spoiler turned into anactive aero brake.

Slightly off topic--

I have a CDC chin spoiler on my outgoing 2009..and I like it a lot. I am considering getting one for the '11 but I'm not convinced that I like the looks as much.

If the brake cooling ducts are ever available it would seal the deal.

Are there any pics out there? Where can I learn more?

I had one on my 05 and my 10. Loved the look of both of them . Removed it from my 10 and replaced it with a 2011 CS lower valence . I have a Roush grille and wanted to have fog lights ,CDC has not done their fog or cooling kit so I changed > I really prefer the CDC look.

Actually, yes. The shot with the cdc spoiler has the headlights covered with tint film. It wasn't too bad but it was causing crazing in the lens. The next shot with the CS spoiler shows the lights painted with VHT night shades. I got a little carried away with trying to get a smooth finish and they turned out too dark. To get the headlight buckets out you have to remove the bumper cover ,grille, etc. I don,t have the time now ,but I will have to strip them and try again.

I really prefer the cdc chin spoiler look. Which makes me very happy as I have one sitting in the garage along with a billet upper and lower grill for the stang. Hopefully in 2 weeks my pre-painted shr flush mounted louvers will arrive. Should be looking good very soon!!!

Hi Eric. I know this is an old thread. But can you please post pics of your CDC chin spoiler? Thanks!
