Blackout roof panel, What do you think?

I just got done installing the matte black roof decal from AM, I really do like the new look.
I was looking for opinions now on whether there is too much black on the car.
I think I may end up removing the rocker panel stripes completely or maybe replacing them with something a little more subtle w/o any wording on it.

What do you guys think? Sorry I can't take any outdoor pics yet.

Looks fine as is. What did you use to get the front bumper plastic so shiny?

However, imagine a nice GT 500 spoiler on back. The black gurney flap would accent the new roof wrap nicely.

I think it has something to do with the camera & having not so good lighting in the garage.

Hmmm.... just when I thought I was running out of things to buy you go and mention this!
I think a matte black GT500 spoiler would look good.

Oh, I have SHR flush mount louvers on the way too. That will reduce the amount of black slightly as well

I like it. I have seen many and they look good. the fact that your basic black and red adds to the effect. MOD ON

It took about 4-5 hours, but I was being patient and taking my time. I didn't want to have to do it over.
Im going to wait till I get my louvers in and am able to pull the car outside to get a better look before I decide to keep or discard the rocker stripes

Looks great!! U have me considering the roof vinyl, but I agree that the rocker stripes make it look a bit overdone... Maybe cuz it says Mustang GT in big letters, if it was plain with no lettering I'm sure it would look better, or removing would be best solution IMHO, besides that your car looks awesome

Has anyone seen the blackout roof on a sterling gray mustang. I love the look on the red but I wonder if it'll look as good on the gray.

I say remove the hood spears and hash stripes and do a power dome blackout likes on the boss. Or even just a black hood scoop

The hood decals are staying, that's for sure. And I've never been a fan of stick-on plastic pieces, they do look ok on some cars though.
What is a "power dome blackout "?
The hood bulge?

If anything, I'd take off the hash stripes. It looks like there's too many black accents competing.

SHR louvers will look great, as does your car in general. I'd change the rocker stripe and remove the hashes but neither looks bad. Some days I really like the roof blackout, some days not as much. Today I cant decide, but again, doesnt look bad, just different. All in all, very .

Exactly. I always use this car as a reference. He has the black hood spears and black scoop. But to be different I said like the boss has

To me it flows well with the black roof

I have the same decals on mine minus the hashes and my rocker is plain. I love the look, but I do agree that a gt500 or RTR spoiler would look great o the back.

Looks good especailly on RED.

Trying to finalize deal on RED CS model. Would be great if I could find material that is close to the CS carbon fiber side stripe.
