I'm looking for something other than the stock GT emblems any ideas? I would prefer something black.

I had the originals painted before I hit a deer and the bodyshop got over on me. I've searched and searched different sites and the closest ive come to is the ones on UPR but I wish I could see how they look on a car first. But mostly I was checking to see if anyone had any fresh ideas or custom emblems I may have missed.

 

Plasti-Dip them. That's what I did with mine, and I'm pretty happy with them.

I've had mine done for 2+ months now- and it's held up extremely well. And it goes nice with the matte black trim. for $6 it's really simple to do and effective.

 

That is a good cheap idea, but right now I'm without fender emblems because of a useless bodyshop my insurance co. Sent me to.(long and angering story) So I'd still have to buy new emblems.

 

If you're looking for something different, they did my black cobras with red eyes.......and have other ideas

It would be nice if they made a 4.6 in that font and size! But alas I opted to get a 2010 and have been forgotten by these aftermarket co.'s. It would be cool though because they already make those UGLY 4.6 emblems that look like the old 5.0 emblems!

FWIW, here's the Blue Oval Industries black 5.0 emblem on my GB. They're about $20, and plastic and I like them.

 

I'm jealous if you 5.0 guys as it is and this is just more salt on the wound.

 

I've always wanted to do the Tri-bar Pony emblem in black with the red/white/blue stripes left alone. Just black out all the chrome trim. I think it would look really good on your car! If you get a Roush/Boss grille you could do a matching grille emblem too...

 

I've been back and forth on the black emblems... I got a white car, and black stripes.. I'm just not too sure if it'll pop the way I want...

That looks very nice. Only complaint.... those wheels, I put the GT500 19" wheels on mine

Pulled the trigger on the UPR black billet emblems, hope they look good.
