Scott Drake Pony is made for 65-68 Mustang with 5.0 swap ..but with a little inginuity can be adapted ...

 

i like it its different. ive got some 289 emblems with the pony like that for a 67.

Yes. Grinding and spacers. Mine are for sale. I replaced with matte black 5.0 to match my wheels.

necro thread, but i absolutely need to know how these were made and whom by.

I've been searching for a couple of years now to find someone to make essentially the same thing for me, only instead of 5.0/302, i want it to say ECO for the ecoboost.

However, there's no such thing for an Eco. You may can contact them and see if they'll do such, but... these are made for modern swaps into vintage cars, so someone sticking a 4.6 or the 5.0 into a '67, for example, is the target here, and there's not likely to be a market for the Eco style. That said, I'm sure they'll do it if you throw a couple thousand at them.

The other idea is to get a couple of whatever ones they have, then get the tops machined to have 'Eco' on 'em, then get then rechromed and repainted. That would probably be less money.

You can try contacting Emblem Pros and ask them to do something custom for you. They might be able to make something like this or close.

Scott Drake also has a version of the emblem without lettering.
