American Muscle's aftermarket HID's for 2010+ Mustangs

Not exactly my style, but not too bad, IMO.

They look dumb on the '05-'09s, as the halo is really tiny in that gigantic housing, but on the '10s they oughtta look fairly outstanding, I'd think. I approve!

I'm no lighting expert so even if the listing had some specs I'm not sure it would mean much to me, but I'm wondering how the output of these lights would compare to the stock HIDs. The instructions don't mention if this is plug and play with non-HID Mustangs or if this conversion requires to have the HID option already in the car. I don't see any ballast in the picture so I doubt it's a straight conversion for non-HID cars. If it were and the output is greater than or equal to the stock option I would forgo the stock HID option and order these.

I don't think they're HID's at all, just projectors.

Yeah, that's right. H11 bulbs, high light output halogens.

I've been looking for these! Perfect for a retrofit.

Impossible to break the seal on the stock headlights...

Nothing's impossible. Just highly improbable.

/The Heart of Gold would help in this case, sounds like....

those look irresistible. Wonder if an HID kill will work w/these and if Raxiom is a good brand?

I prefer the Yellow Directional on the inside ... the reason I didn't want HID lights in the first place ..

I don't see why so many say this. I see many, many more Bimmers with these than "rice" cars.

The Bimmer equivalents are usually Hella brand and of exceptional quality, not some offbrand like "Raxion". As well the Hella units usually lack the cheap/gratuitous "chrome" looking trim inside the lens. Big difference.

Raxiom's lights are manufactured in a high tech facility with testing capabilities exceeding the DOT's. Raxiom lights are actually produced on the same production line as many Ford/GM/etc. OE lights. We have random quality assurance testing on all of the brands that we carry, including exclusive brands (such as Raxiom). They have a 2 year warranty. I assure you they aren't "some offbrand" like you'd find on eBay. I'm loving the Raxiom 2010 Style tail lights on my S197!
