Has anyone installed the AM black mamba hood on a '13 mustang? I like the super snake style hood, but since I can't find one, the AM looks good and it's functional, unlike the LMR cervini. I'm curious about the fit and finish.

I've seen the mamba hoods for the '13-'14 GT. Check with BMC extreme customs.

Wow I didn't even realize we were missing the Black mamba hood for the 13-14 GT's. Sorry for the inconvenience DarrenGT! I'll see if I can bring this hood in to our site in the near future.

I do love the look of the Black Mamba hood, too. Especially since the ram air is fully functional. It's a nice way to get some cool air to your intake!

OP, I wonder why they state it won't fit on a GT since I had thought everything about the 13+ body was the same as the GT500.

 

There is one for the GT direct from BMC. And I wouldn't want it prepainted. Too risky. the paint may not match, or get damaged in shipping. Blending with fenders and facia might be needed too. too many variables.
