Hey, I had quite a few all chrome cars back in the early 70's, built by Mattel...

A couple of companies are making that chrome paint now.

Surface prep is a booger, if it's not perfect it stands out really bad.

And talk about hard to keep clean!

 

Reminds me of an American Airlines plane..

 

I'd love to see it in person when it was all done.

definitely not my thing. I hope the owner enjoys it, but wow...not for me.

 

Anyone else find it funny that the car is chromed...but it has aluminum painted wheels...

 

It's a work in progress, I'm sure they will change the wheels before they are through.

 

I like it as a show car, but I wouldn't want it as a daily driver. Mainly cause it would be a B to keep clean, and the nicks and dings would ruin it.

Not really my cup of tea either, however its a cool concept and a good cause.
