ADV1

Anybody have experience with them? Use them? Issues? Quality? Been looking at ADV10 Tracspec.

Gotta explain what ADV1 is first off. I'm too lazy to google it and I must not have one since I don't know what it is.

I know a few guys that have had their wheels and have had nothing but stellar results. Even racing with them and haven't had any issues. I want some one day.

They are great wheels. I'd rock some for sure!

read up on 360 forged first (same company same owner). lots of forums ban adv because of their horrible business practice of stealing peoples money. and 99% of their ads are photochops.

if you're looking for quality wheels buy HRE.

And their wheels bend easily, and cost an arm and a leg. Every place has their ups and downs. I haven't heard that about Adv1, but I don't frequent too many forums other than this one anymore. Interesting to hear.

i think they look fantastic plus there's not a lot of mustangs running them. from what i understand, the owner has done a better job of running adv.1 in comparison to 360forged.

I've only seen good things about ADV.1, here's a good article to check out concerning newer wheel companies, including ADV.1 (yes, it is a stance site, but certainly pertinent): http://www.stanceiseverything.com/20...panies-part-1/

I've heard nothing but good things about ADV1 Wheels, but they do cost a lot of money.

The former ADV 1 owner Jordan is long gone and for good reason.

ADV 1 now is a design company. They actually do not manufacture the wheels themselves.

Contact Paul Howey from Howey Industries. He carries ADV 1 and many other high end brands and give you the pro/cons.

ADV1 wheels are good looking but very expensive. For the money, I'd have Forgeline build me a set of wheels instead.

I stand corrected. I had heard he was long gone.

Your brochure clearly shows his name as president. With that being said I would not even give them a second look.

Thanks for sharing.

Contacted ADV1 and they put me through to their dealer here in Korea. Asked about ADV10 Tracspec, traditional lip, matte black, 19 x (9" and 9.5"), either size. I was quoted $9505 for either size, matte black (center, lip, inner), includes shipping, custom VAT, and handling charge.

Is that $9500.00 US for a set of wheels? Please tell me that is a typo.

Worthless. I would go with CCW. They have plenty of options and styles. Anything from 3 piece forged to one piece forged. They can do any offset and have lots of finish options. The most expensive ones are $800 per wheel. Check them out. I have been seeing a lot of Terminators running them lately. They have race and street options as well.

The Vossen CV7's are on my list as well if I decide to go with non custom fitment.

You could get Forgelines for half that. No way could they be worth it.
