2014 GT with new wheels 😎😎

Hello,

Just got new wheels and tires : )

20" TSW nurburgring gun metal
Hankock tires 275/35/20

Love the way it looks. Just not too happy with the wobble it has. Lugnuts are tight not sure why. I am supposed to go back next week to get the correct hub spacer. For now they added a universal spacer for the front, told me could cause a little vibration which it does. Anybody have a similar issue?

Thanks! I love it!

Only thing is I feel that it doesnt handle as tight as before. I know bigger wheels have more weight but these wheels weight about same as stock(23.3 pounds). So shouldnt performance be the same?

Honestly, the sidewall on the new tires is probably not as stiff. It flexes more under load, which would explain the "soft" feeling you get. That would be my best educated guess.

Dont remember those when I installed my wheels the other day. Is that front, rear or both? Looking at the picture of the forgestar CF10 there is no room for it. Dont really feel a wobble but there is a squeak at low speed that goes away when I brake.

The retainer rings are found on front and rear...I think...

Had the same problem on mine when I put new wheels on, aftermarket ones don't have the space for the clips like the O.E. ones do, wobbled like crazy. Went about one mile before coming straight home and found a post about it removed them and smooth as butter after. I had one clip on each corner.

Haha. Love it

Btw I am supposed to get the exact spacers tomorrow. This clowns got the wrong ones, took 2 weeks to get right ones :sigh: I recommend Staying away from discount wheel warehouse. They say clips are only on fronts, i am gonna tell them to remove all wheels to make sure. Crossing my fingers

So the tire place put spacers and my car still felt weird. Took it to ford got alignment and balance now car drives perfect. Never going back to that place. They said they aligned but my toe had to be adjusted +1.5 idiots.

I still feel a very slight vibration at 80, i think its in my head though.

Thanks. I told the mechanic to make sure he said they were all removed. Too lazy to pull wheels to check, but i bet they are off.
