2012 Mustang Decklid Panel?

If I remove the decklid panel currently on my car will it expose holes or is it just glossy paint under there waiting to be seen? I know it was an option on the car and didn't come stock. But just wondering if when ordered if they put guiding pins or anything like that, or just stuck it on there with some 3M tape?

Yes tape but you will need something to cover the faux gas cap holes and "bump" in the decklid after you pull the panel.

i think he was just talking about the optional black decklid panel, not the gas cap.

For some reason this looks like a dirty picture to me. Too naked! Put something on it!
