Has anyone kept their wheels..but had them painted/powder coated to change the dark gray to a different color? (like black).

Wonder what other's thoughts are on this.


Do the whole wheel in black? or just do the dark gray part? and matte black or a glossy black?

 

Just the gray part...glossy black to match your car paint !

 

White car with the dark grey area painted black looks incredible! The black would look good to, probably wouldnt stand out as well as on the white car though! But it would match your car and that makes a difference as well! Go for it I say!

I thought Ford sold a set in black for the V6 line....maybe a smaller size but it will give you an idea what they look like.

Found a pic...2011 V6 option...I also believe they are the same size as our GT/CS wheels...just no GT on them.
