2010 Roush Prototype Hood
That hood is pretty clean man, i like the scoop and vents on the side. not too crazy looking and goes with the lines of the body.
I havent seen that hood anywhere either, wonder since its a prototype if they delayed having mass produced it yet?

But it does look great. But its not a bad deal to settle for the Saleen Powerflow hood!

Yeah, but it's going to be a few months. I also looked at the Venom hood on American Muscle but I think I will spend a little more and get the Saleen. Lots of time to think about it. Its going to be a late fall kind of project. Possibly even next spring. Not sure yet, ill have to see how the end of the year bonus's for my wife and I work out.
What about the VIS Stalker Hood: http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/...lass-Hood.html

That hood was deemed too expensive to produce for production and was squashed. I would have loved one for my car. I'm considering the saleen hood as well. I need to vent heat more than ram more air in.

FOUND ONE! Found this today searching for deals on CAI's on ebay. Looks pretty close except the hood scoop is split on this one. But the seller claims the its a functional scoop and bottom side does show an air opening where most CAI airboxes would be. Price isnt too bad either!

Good catch! Scary sometimes with these unknown sellers fiberglass parts. Fit and finish issues could double the price once your body guy looks at it. I saw one at a show where a guy had a custom mural done on it and the heat had warped it because the fiberglass was too thin.

Look at Steeda's hood. They put a grille opening before the bulge and I've heard from several sources that it's actually one of the best current designs out there that really do something. Most hood scoops don't grab any air or too much air because of the placement of the opening relative to air flow over the nose. If it wasn't for the fact that my hood is 1 of 6 I would cut it in a second. I might buy a take-off hood to cut up. A cowl opening would work also.
