2010 Foglight "Retrofit"

I believe this time, I'm the FIRST one to retrofit foglights on a 2010 Mustang GT...

Retrofitsource.com Blazer Stage III kit w/ 3k bulbs... Here it is.
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ea0q5m9kq7256s

**Note: There is a long back story w/ this retrofit and my front valance... But anyway, I completed this retro in about 5 hours because I have various car shows to attend in April ~ It is nowhere near "perfect" yet**

Tight fit....

I like it looks good. Looks like your headlights are HID? Factory or aftermarket?

Factory HID uses inside mounted projectors. That looks like a retrofit

I was thinking that, but I was going for a pseudo-boss 302 look.

Thanks. =] It's a piece from SEMA 2010 and it's a red/black carbon fiber weave.

Something like that.

I'm constantly changing sticker locations though, so some pics are different... heh.

Chutoyy,

You think you could give some more details about that retro fit? How'd you add the lights to the harness? Which wire harness did you use with that kit? The stock fogs on a GT are H10's correct? I don't see that as an option on that site.

It's a cool project, and I don't like stealing ideas. But I've been looking for something to stick in my CDC chin spoiler since I'm pretty sure CDC won't ever release their fog kit for it. Any info would be great.

TruFiber is a good company with good products. Those of us with TruFiber banners on our cars are like a small 'family.'

They don't ask us to put their banners on our cars; we do it because we want to.

The kit comes w/ the harness that will plug into the factory connections and into the ballast, then to the bulbs. Pretty much plug and play; similar to regular HID headlights.

Yes stock GT fogs are H10's... but I believe the H11 harness will fit as well.

Here is the kit that I purchased....

You can also try contacting them, http://www.theretrofitsource.com/contact_us.php and asking for Matt; I've been in correspondence with him regarding the fog light retro and he should be able to find the best wiring solution they have for you (mention the blue 2010 mustang w/ fog lights).

I wouldn't say it's stealing any ideas; if it was, I wouldn't post it. Someone else has done this on an 05-09 as well. =D
