19 x 10 rear wheels - what size tires?

I just ordered some Saleen wheels, the rears are 19 x 10 with a 50mm offset. What size tires can i go with? 285/35-19, 295/35-19 maybe 305/35-19 fit without modifying sheetmetal/suspension?

It will be an 1 1/4" lower.

Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial 305/35/19 if you want serious traction if you have a SC on your V6.

Sizes in 305/295 severly limited in 19".

285/35/19 would be the best choice as they are many choices.

First off, what's the intended purpose for the car on which these wheels and tires will be affixed? If you're a drag racer and looking to run the widest rear tire possible without rubbing then, yeah, you'd probably be okay with a 295 or 305.

It would honestly be for looks, i just don't know how big a tire will properly fit rim and car without mods to body/suspension.

Do you drive the car daily? Do you track it or take it to road courses? How often do you visit a drag strip?

Weekend toy that probably wouldn't see the track much.
