10-12 Mustang Mach One Hood?

I just noticed that Cervini makes a Mach 1 style hood for 2010-12 Mustangs. I think it's pretty new. That has always been one of my favorite Mustang hood styles, so I'm pretty interested in getting it..

I've never bought any Cervini parts, but they seem to be a good company... They make pretty good products, right?

By chance, has anybody bought this hood? I'd love to see some real world pictures, especially on black. I live in Japan and I'm sure shipping will be super expensive, so any pics or info before I buy would be highly appreciated.

I like it. I think it had a different name for the older cars if I remember correctly

Pretty cool looking hood, I wouldn't mind seeing one in person either. Don't see many here in Germany.

Yeah, it had a different name before, probably to advertise features. I think this name is really suiting though. It looks just like the 1971-1973 Mach 1 hood.

Hopefully some nice pictures will pop up soon!

There are pictures on the net - just google "cervini mach 1 hood", and then click "Images" in the google menu.

Cervini is supposed to make really nice hoods, requiring little prep out of the box to make them ready for paint.

In the interest of completeness, TruFiber makes a similar hood.

I'd have to see it in person to make a decision on it, it looks too much like the MOPAR hoods from the photo.

As for Cervini quality, I had a Cervini Fiberglass cowl hood and roll pan on my 2000 dakota. Excellent fitment, very little bodywork was required. if memory serves, I just installed the hood to test fit, was happy with it, and removed and painted it. . The roll pan required filling , the gaps were too big for my taste

Are you referring to the 'shaker' hood? The kit with the top mounted air inlet and the template to cut the hood?

It wasn't only available on the Mach 1's back in the day, but it's association today is with the 03-04 new edge Machs.

Not the shaker hood. Here's what the OP is referring to....

I like it a lot. But, hoods and all cosmetic mods are going to be highly subjective. I have a cervin's cobra hood and the quality is pretty **** good. I have no vibration at speeds of up to 120 and I have no hood pins. It wasn't quite plug and play as some lines didn't match up perfectly, but my body guy was very impressed with the constructions.

I wasn't completely impressed with their customer service, but over all, I'm really glad I got the hood.

Google only returns the official Cervini images that were likely taken in a studio. I'm still hoping to see some "real world" pictures... Have any popped up?

Lots of TruFiber pics, but no cervini. I can vouch for the quality of Cervini hoods - I had one installed last week (Type 4 Ram Air), and it looks amazing.
