Tune+CAI with 2.73 gears

For those of you with a Tune+CAI and 2.73 gears what kind of performance increase did you get? Also, if you used an economy tune, how much did your MPG increase?

I have the Bama Tune and BBK CAI and there is a noticeable performance increase. I once put the factory tune back on the car because the car was going to be looked at by my dealer and I wanted no issues because it had a tune. The car was noticeably sluggish compared to my other tunes. The CAI adds sound that is deep and probably makes it sound like it gives more power than it actually does. Even while driving around people will notice you a bit more because of the CAI sound. (I've attached an image with the CAI) so besides sound, it also provides some nice car show eye candy

As far as economy well... I can reach 30+mpg on the highway but I have an issue where my foot likes to lay on the gas. Could be a medical condition but I'm not a doctor.

I already have a CAI and Roush Exhaust, it's all pretty loud. Think I'll get any deeper?

Any chance you can run the economy tune and get your MPG figures?

I run the economy tune daily and run Race tune if I plan to run Autocross or Drag Racing but if you have the CAI and Roush Exhaust already then your sound isn't going to change with a tune.

Your MPG would be slightly different then mine because you have a slightly different setup but I can easily get 30mpg hwy and I get about 24-25 around town with stop and go traffic. That is if I am light on the throttle.

I'm already averaging 30-32 highway and 22-24 city. Trying to figure out if the tune will pay for itself with enough saved MPGs. Sounds like it will, just looking for proof

Are you g u s refering to BAMA's Street tune when talking about economy tune?

From past experience there is nothing a CAI or mufflers will do to your car performance wise that justifies the price. If you want the looks and the sound and are content with just that then your ok, but the only thing giving you more power is the tune all its own. Until I got headers and a mid pipe I ran stock air box with a KN drop in filter. Car ran better with that as a tune than either either Airiad or Injen's intakes. There is s reason they are no tune required.

Best thing for economy is the Street tune and just casual driving. I drove cross country in their Street tune and my car filled with stuff. An avg of 550-580lbs including myself was in the car and I avg 28.8 mpg the whole way from CA to MA
