Thinking about putting a GT grille on 2013

I photoshoped my car with my GT grille on it. Can't decide if it's worth it or not.

looks like you have the pony package. shouldnt the grille that comes with that be a little different to begin with? I also have a pong package 2013 and was debating the same thing. You can buy 13' GT grilles on ebay from roush for like $300.

Yes, I changed it to the performance package grille. I felt the pony package grille took away from the contour of the grille opening. But I now have the option to upgrade to the GT grille, so that's what I'm doing.

I like the way the GT grille looks with the fog lights there. I found a kit for this, but it looks like it will run $540 as i don't have fog lights already. Let me know if you do this and how easy/difficult the install is, and how well it all fits together.

I was told a GT grill will not fit in a V6 surround. I have a 2014 V6 and want to put a Boss 302 grill in it. I checked with Ford body shop... was told I would have to change my front bumper to a GT to get it to fit. Anyone know for sure?

All you need to do is make sure the boss grille comes with the surround, then it's a simple switch. Also, the GT and V6 bumpers are the same.

Curious as to why you needed to photoshop it to imagine what it would look like. Doesn't it just look like a GT?

Very nice. What harnesses did you need to make all of the lights work together? I want to do that but change the original fogs to 3000k yellow HID's.

Again, VERY nice car you have.

Looks great! I also am wondering about the install considering you retained the stock fog lamps. Is it still plug in play, or did you have to splice into it so both the GT and stock fog lamps would work?

After researching this more V6 owners with fogs can get the starkey adapter harness and tap into it to power both sets of lights. Since I am converting my lowers to HID anyway, I am going to use a tap from the starkey harness to the trigger for a relay that will power the HID's. You can also get an H11 harness and tap into starkey harness to power the GT and stock fogs.

I like the black billet grilles from AM. Really affordable and look mean. Make sure you get the one without the pony cut out. Also I'd black out the chrome surround with plastidip or spray paint.

I'm confused....what happened to your DIB GT? Or is that V6 a second Mustang?

Hey guys. So I had the V6 first and sold it for the DIB GT. I no longer have this car.
