My experience with this setup:

I installed the SR springs months ago and after measurements the drop gave me a 1.5" drop in the front and 1.8" in the rear. The car was sitting level.
The stock struts and shocks blew out and the ride was horrible. The STR.Ts became available again and I purchased the 2011 GT500 mounts in order to mount the struts.
The strut bolts sit in the engine bay about another .6"
I'm not sure if it is the strut setup or how the strut sits in the mount, but the front sits another .6" lower as well!
The stance is killer now! I am very happy with how the Koni s&s improved my ride. No more clunck, no more dip and dive.
This is a solid setup. I also have a WhiteLine strut tower brace installed.

Sweet. So what is the total drop over all? I have 20's so I am kinda worried in dropping more that 1.25-1.5 max.

It measures a tab bit lower in the front to the wheel wells, but the front wheel wells are cut higher, you can definitely see the front slant.

So I have the SR springs on my '12 v6 w/ stock struts. I find it to be a pretty bumpy ride at times. I've been thinking of getting the str.t's as well. How much difference did it make in the ride after install?

My ride was getting extremely hard, the shocks and struts were blown. It's like night and day. You will need different mounts in order to install the new struts.
It's not a pillow or a cloud, you do feel the bumps. Extreme improvement in handling.

Where did you get the STR.Ts from? I am starting to put together my future suspension list together.

I was sitting on back order for a little while from AM, they are popular. Jay@hypermotive received them in stock around the same time for a couple bucks more.

I recommend an adjustable panhard bar to recenter your rear end, it will shift about a .25 inch from the drop.

I have a whiteline strut brace also. It only has the 2 bolt grab on both sides, but I still noticed a huge difference, and IMO it is the best looking one.

I am overall pretty happy with my suspension now. I still have the stock sway bars, not sure if I will upgrade those just yet.
Working on my exhaust now

I like watching your build, Chris. My 14 SGM V6 Premium Coupe with the PP is coming in next week. The dealer is installing the FRPP Handling Pack, FRPP PHB and FRPP AB Mufflers before I take delivery.

You're a better man than I, though. You're doing all the wrench work

Congrats on your purchase. You will like the package. This is my first mustang and I am enjoying it. My father is on his 6th stang(2014)!
I needed a vehicle and purchased one on the lot, it had everything in it i wanted except the frpp package.
I would like a pair of those mufflers!
Share some shots when you get the time.

With the gt500 strut mounts did you have to order 05-10 koni's?

Yes, I believe these are the only ones Koni offers for 13-14.

Yup. The koni strt are only made with the 05-09 mounts. The koni sports are made for either the 05-09 or 10-14 mount.

Are you sure that drop number is correct? I have the same springs and my cars on 19 PP wheels and the gap looks almost identical. I wanted the car to sit lower. I wanted a .25 inch gap between the tire and fender

It is correct measurements. There is a pic above that shows the measurements. Do you have the same shocks, the same struts, the same mounts?
And I am running 18s.
The measurements might not match yours since you have different rim and tire sizes.

Yeah stock struts and mounts and all that. But the original drop you mentioned seems pretty intense. Mine did not drop that dramatically

My previous post stated that I rode on the stock shocks/struts, mounts for months. After installing the mounts, i measured another .5 drop up front. Others have measured this drop on there mustangs 11-14 also.
here are some better shots of the drop.
There is a stock height 2014 Brembo 5.0 in the pic also to compare.

So what's the gap measurement between the tire and fender wall. That's the front measurement. And the rear just for reference
