Slammed v6

I'm looking for the lowest drop possible on our v6 using just springs. I can't afford bags or coils so springs are my only option. Anyone got any nice set ups? Pics would be great

Eibach Sportlines. I have them on my GT.

I think the h&r super sports will give you about the lowest drop you can get without anything else. But if you go anything more than a 1.5" spring, you'll need other things lol. Plus with the springs 25bduse has, yours won't sit as low cuz it's a tad lighter.

FlordiaSixer you still debating which springs to get lol. H&R springs are probably going to be the lowest but your gonna have to change a lot to keep the suspension geometry in spec and aligned. Shocks, struts, cc plates panhard, control arm relo brackets and probably a bumpsteer kit and adj. uca.

that's what I was getting at. If you went 2+ inch drop, with just springs, you'll have things breaking left and right, plus the ride will be complete ****. You'll also then have to spend the money anyways to fix everything.

Yeah I know it's a pain lol and yeah I already know to get those parts. I was looking at the H&R springs too. Those sr performance just aren't low enough

I have a pair of the sr springs I picked up on sale, just waiting to install them with everything else. I think I'm going to want lower as well lol, but we'll see.

It's not a bad drop but there's still enough of a gap to bug me

that's what I'm afraid of. Although, I drive 80 miles a day and I don't want it too low so that the ride will be ****.
And is that photo just springs, nothing else? CVH had a thread he did with gt500 mounts koni strt's and sr springs and I thought his looked a little lower.

whats your overall tire size? i am running a 235/50/18 with the SR springs and the gap is not so bad. GT500 mounts with Koni strT shocks/struts
You could always put some more meat on the rims

Thank you for chiming in CVH! I'm doing the same exact setup as yourself, on the same exact wheels and tires. How's the ride?

The ride isn't the best, but not the worst. A bump steer kit is worth it along with a pan bar
The car handles very well.

I thought the SR springs rode like crap but this could have also been because they just didn't pair well with my Steeda Pro-Action shocks & struts. Not sure but I tried them with my Koni yellows and also didn't like the ride.

It could have a lot to do with driving conditions. The roads I drive my pony on are mostly smooth in general, until I hit Miami. I do notice all the bumps, but it is a trade off for getting the ><1.6 drop I received all around. Unfortunately I can not find another spring set that will offer the same drop unless I go coil overs. FYI. I am currently looking for another spring set because my wife does not like the ride.

Haha yeah that was part of the reason for me. Mrs. didn't like to take my car anywhere. The roads here aren't the best.

so is there another set of springs either of you are looking at, that is the same drop or lower, with a better ride quality???
