Roush exhaust on '13 installation DIY or pay?

I have zero knowledge on exhaust installation but I've worked on cars before but I'm not too savvy yet. I've changed headlights, sparkplugs, MAFs, just nothing too complex

How hard is it to install these roush exhausts myself? Isn't it a direct bolt-on to where the old axlebacks are? Do I need to jack my car up or can it just be done parked in my driveway? I pick it up tomorrow(wednesday) and I just want to know because if not I'll just go to an exhaust shop and let them do it. The box has been staring at me for over 2 weeks now and I'm quite anxious.

Thanks

took me 30 minutes to install my Roush AB's. Basic tools and a set of ramps or a jack. Have someone help you hold the muffler while you tighten it down so they can adjust it and center it.

save that installation money for a rainy day! (or moaaar mods). Its not a tough job at all. I did my flows without jacking it up, just backed the car up to the edge of the driveway apron. Yours will be especially easy on a brand new car

The hardest part is getting the oem axle backs off. The rest is easy.

took me about an hour and a half to do mine...about an hour for the passenger side because I was fighting with it so much to get it removed.

once I figured it out, the drivers side was a piece of cake

Time is not an issue so it's ok if it takes me around that haha but yeah that's true, it's always the figuring out part that's the hardest, not really the job itself.

Thanks to all of you guys. This is something I had been wondering about, too. I'm gonna go for it and spend that installation fee on some other gizmo!

I'm gonna spend it on gas, as I'll need plenty of that.

I hope you don't have to spend any on speeding tickets or a clutch replacement, Kev!

Haha I'm not speeding, no way I'm doing that. I stay at speed limit or 5 over max. Can't let my insurance go up for a couple of seconds of fun.

It's crazy how much better I'm getting at it now since I found the sweet spot for the clutch so my shifts are smooth as butter, except for neutral to first ugh that still gets met a bit, it jerks a little. Can't wait to install the exhaust and CAI tomorrow!

Just installed it today, all you need is some lubricant, a 13 and a 15 mm bolt and that's it. It's still a pain and took me over 2 hours.
