Prototype Turbo for V6
Prototype Turbo for V6
Interesting, looks like a turbo is finally coming out for the V6. CFM posted this youtube video back in Jan. but have just announced that they're ready to install a turbo. So perhaps it has even better performance than this prototype that was a little less than mid 12's? Also though, the 60ft time wasn't the best on this run, so I see no reason with 4.10's and drags it couldn't easily be in the 11's with just the Turbo installed. Wonder if the 3.7 engine would handle both this turbo and a Procharger?

Seeing as how cfm has gone 10s in their stock block syb 3.7.
I'm sure this turbo car will get there soon enough hell the mph is allready there for low-low 11s or a 10.9 with the right 60ft.
Also fwiw you don't want 4.10s with a turbo car some 3.31 or 3.55*which this car has* are the perfect gears for a turbo as you won't have to shift as much*killing boost* and you allow the car to pull through the gears turbos love being under load!

I totally agree about this potentially being a 10 second car. Ahh...I see what you're saying about the gears. Right, with a supercharger you don't have that boost loss on shifting so you'd want to stay in the power band as much as possible since shifting doesn't affect boost. So having 4.10's has an advantage. But with a turbo, losing that load slightly dips boost as you need to spin the turbo back up to full boost on each shift. Am I right on that?
