Its time for my oil change and I found two great offers first is from Royal Purple

I have tried both in past cars and been happy with both I just want to get your input on which one and why please.

 

I don't know a lot of places that sell Royal Purple. The fact that I can't grab a quart from a random store to top off bothers me. But everyone here sells Mobile1. Hell, I can get a quart at 2am at walmart if i really need it. I prefer Mobil1 based on that fact alone.

 

I've used both of these in the past in other cars, both are good oil. I use Motorcraft 'full synthetic' in my Mustang. Why???? I haven't found one bad thing said on the internet (last time i've checked) about Motorcraft full synthetic motor oil.

Just choose the motor oil you feel the most comfortable with

 

I'd go with Mobil1 deal. It's cheaper and it includes the expensive filter. With the RP deal, a filter is not included.

 

As long as you change at a regular intervals, you cannot go wrong with either of them.

 

Pepboys here in San Diego sells RP. Also, what would you recommend for tranny fluid in a 2012 V6 MT?
