MRT Announces 2011-2012 V6 Mustang MaxFlow H-Pipe

Plymouth, Michigan- MRT is proud to announce their new 2011-2012 V6 Mustang MaxFlow H-Pipe. The new H-Pipe was designed, engineered and manufactured for the MRT SEMA Award winning 2011 Mustang TKO.

The new H-Pipe minimizes restriction and power losses by maximizing the flow of exhaust gases for increased power and performance coupled with a real deep performance sound. The MRT engineering team optimizes three key elements during their design process.

1. Tube diameter
2. Smoothness of the exhaust path
3. Less back pressure from the catalyst

The stock 3.7l V6 –Pipe is 2.0 inches in diameter at the point of restriction. The MRT MaxFlow H-Pipe widens the mid-pipe to 2.5 inches creating 25% better flow. MRT’s CNC mandrel bending technology ensures that the MaxFlow H-Pipe features smooth bends and precise fit.

MRT manufactures all the company’s MaxFlow H-Pipes out of the highest grade 304 Stainless Steel that is durable against rust and corrosion resistant. MRT’s catalytic converters are engineered and built to last with choice packing designed to endure serious performance driving for many years. All MRT H-Pipes and Axle Back exhausts are designed, engineered and manufactured by MRT Performance in Plymouth Michigan.

The MaxFlow V6 H-Pipe requires no modifications to the Mustang. The system is a direct fit factory replacement that attaches with bolts. The MRT MaxFlow V6 H-Pipe may require a tune. MRT Performance provides custom tuning that will optimize the Mustang’s performance gain.

MRT, headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan is a performance aftermarket engineering, customization and sales company that specializes in automotive exhaust, styling and performance.

I wonder how this compares to Lethal's O/R xpipe. I won't buy those because they are catless. I would prefer xpie, but I guess they are going for a certain sound. How much is it? I can't find it on their site.

Lethal's is less than $200, but doesn't have cats. I wonder what street prices will be. Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know if this will fit on a 2012 Mustang GT? I would love to add this and the side exhaust.

This does NOT have side exhaust outputs, the wrong image is on the article.

If you want side exhaust get MRT's Boss 302 H pipe.
