Brembo's on a V6

I have a set of OEM 07' Shelby Brembos i plan on installing onto my 2012 V6. They run an 18x8 wheel. My Dad's OEM Shelby wheels were 18x9 Front and 18x10 rear. Now I cant remember what the space looked like before he Super Snaked it, but is there a chance THAT set up could fit with those wheels or would I need to get wider wheels/ spacers? If wheels/ spacers are needed then how wide should I go?

I don't know about the '07 Brembos, but with the '10+ Brembos, you need to run a 1" spacer on the stock wheels.

From what I've seen ( could be wrong) is that the newer GT 500's have a much larger brake kit than the 09' and older. I could be wrong. I'd have to measure.

The 07-12 GT500 brakes are all the same, and also the same as the 11-14 GT/Boss brakes. 4 piston calipers and 14" rotors on the front. Only difference is finish on the calipers.

Ok well good news is I have a set of 07 GT 500 wheels I can use thing is I don't want a staggered setup on my car. I want to be able to rotate my wheels and not pay so much for tires. So now I'm looking for a set of the 07-09 GT 590 front 18x9.5 wheels. Lol

That is a good look. PM USMC302 on here. He just got an 11 GT that had GT500 wheels on it that he wants to sell. It's a staggered set though. Might be able to separate. You could also do a set from American muscle. Or do you want to stay OEM?

I might have spelled it wrong. He's the guy who had the Kona GT with yellow fog lights, that recently got totaled. He just got the black GT to replace it.
