Which Bama tune to optimize fuel efficiency

Am I correct in assuming the Bama Street tunes are best for fuel efficiency for normal daily driving? I'm assuming all tunes will give some power increase, so that would just be an added bonus. I run regular 87 octane, so is the 87 Street tune what I need?

I'm pretty sure that they offer a tune specifically for fuel economy. I would recommend contacting Bama for more information.

Out of the Street, Performance and Race tune, the Street tune targets Fuel Economy the most. Like listed above we do have a type of "Fuel Economy" file that can attempt to help you gain a few MPG!

If you're interested in check that out, feel free to give the Bama team a call and see what they can do for you! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

It does? I always got my best MPGs out of the race tune. That was some time ago when I did several thousand miles of comparisons, maybe they have changed the strategy on the tunes since then.

They're all going to be pretty comparable. However, since the Street tune is designed to be a daily driven file, it's known to get the best gas mileage. However, if the car's driven Calmly you can see just as much out of the Race tune!

I hope this helps clear things up!
