What is the widest tire one can fit on the stock 19 inch wheels? I believe they are 8.5 wide. Debating wether to keep my stock wheels or purchase some gt 500 wider wheels. Thanks guys and gals!

 

255's are about the widest for most tires and an 8.5" wheel.

Look at the BFG KDW2 on TireRack. Look for the "Specs" tab under the tire. Click on that tab and scroll down to the 19" tires. Then, read over to the right. It will show you the widest tire you can run for that specific model of tire.

I've seen people run a 265 on their stock wheels. But the first donut this one guy did, the tire peeled right off the rim. It bulged a lot too.
