Widest Tire for 19" X 8.5" wide Rim

I have the stock 19" X 8.5" wide wheels, What's the Widest tire that will fit this rim and fit the car, I believe there's a point where if you go wider you have to relocate something?
I'm looking at the Nitto, Invo Tire.

I would definitely not go above 255 on a 8.5" wide rim.. Although you might be able to get away with a 265 series tire, I wouldn't recommended running that size on anything less than a 9.0" rim width..

In the attachment, I love these rims, I just wish they were wider than 8.5".

A 255/40/19 In the right tire will generate a very good amount of traction.
There are a lot of good tires out there in that size look for something between 160-320 tread wear!

My Stock wheels are 19x8.5 and when I replaced the Pirelli's I went with a 255/40/19 Cooper Zeon. It was a good fit. Then a couple years later I purchase new wheels and tires.
