Subscribed. Oh, and you definitely made the right choice in going with the Whipple 2.9L. It is one beast of a compressor! There's a reason why Ford Racing sourced Whipple as their supercharger supplier.

I like this detail thread. Subd. I have questions. Why isn't anyone machining the timing cover and selling them? How much time does it take to swap out the timing cover? What about a snout fir the blower pulley to extend the belt location like the KB?

Great thread I'll be following along as you complete your install.I lol at the KB comment

because that's what I have It's cool to see someone having such a goodtime with a blower install and providing all the detailed pics and info.

I understand the new Coyote aluminator crate motor comes with the timing cover ready for the blower.

My guess would be because the grinding itself is less troublesome than pulling and replacing the timing cover. Wouldn't be worth the cost of another OEM cover either.

I don't understand your question about the snout. Sorry?

You got it. The Aluminator comes with a modified timing cover.

I'd be to do both right now, but it's not in my budget to do so.

Until then, ticking time bomb! Haha!

What Are you doing for tuning, and how much boost do you expect with the 3.75 pulley? Great write-up. Thanks!

Jon Lund is my tuner. I should see 10 psi on the 3.75 pulley.

I also have a 4.00" pulley that makes 8 psi.

!

You got the right blower. I've talked with a few installers and they all said Whipple is a great piece, very efficient and has good longevity.

Here's the super long "snout" for the old Windsor 5.0 motors I was referring to, and it extends the blower pulley out to the other pulleys for quicker installs, just and idea! http://www.kennebell.net/KBWebsite/S...aflowzilla.htm

Just added some pretty detailed tips on extending the TPS and Purge Valve.

The instructions are extremely vague here, so my notes will surely help someone.

Thanks for following the thread guys.
