Where can I get a shift **** for a premium interior?
So I have a GT premium, which means I already have the aluminum/retro ****. I would like to replace it with either a B302 **** or a standard white retro ****. I was going to go with Barton, but as it turns out, how they sell it is only for a non Premium interior car.
Can anyone help me out here?

I think she means she had the 401a interior not the 400 interior. Hers has better leather and the tribar emblems on the doors. It's pretty sweet. Oh, and the chrome ball shifter. I have to look but I started a thread when I put my boss shift **** on. At the time, it was the best price.

You are right. The 401a that you have will take the boss shift **** with no further modifications. I have the 400a interiors so I had to buy the boot you already have. I'm trying to be cool like the 401a people.

Danielle, if I were you I'd go the extra mile and get a Hurst short-throw shifter. It has that classic muscle car look and feel to it. And considering that shift ***** are already relatively expensive, why not go the extra mile and get a real shifter? I had one in my '05 GT and never regretted it.

Yeah, I'm really thinking about a Hurst shifter.. But I guess mostly I've just been doing mods that I can do on my own w/out help. I'd have to get someone to install the shifter for me.

I believe they are the source of most of the ***** you see for sale. The nice part about ordering direct is you can have it made any size, style or color you like.
Bought the shift boot retainer off ebay. This is the one I bought although from a different vender.

I went with the old school ball.
Attached is a not so great picture but it gives you an idea.

Our thread pitch is M12 x 1.25 fine pitch, changed from the 2004 and earlier pitch of m12 x 1.75 course pitch. I bought both handles when I got my MGW, allows for more selection. The B302 from parts cheap is a good deal as well.
