Vortech owners bracket question

Guys I just put my vortech blower on and I'm having some issues with what I would say is bracket flex causing it to squeal. It's not horrible and doesn't do it all the time. I was wondering if I just need to break the belt in and let it loosen up a little or if vortech sent me the old bracket set up. Let me know if the pic I'm sending looks like your bracket or not.

The motor side bracket looks to be the old style that had alignment issues. Look at this diagram and compare to yours. Looks like your motor side bracket is different at the top mounting point. Your engine side bracket (smaller one) does not loo like the one on my Paxton kit, which should be the exact same one as the Vortech.

Finally got In touch with them. They sent wrong bracket some how. Not sure why they even still have these. There shipping me one today with a new belt. Now I just have to put in some more wrench time this weekend.

Excellent! I suspect the brackets might be used on more than just our specific car. I ordered the Vietech cold air intake and fuel booster. Claimed 20 to 40 Hp- well see.

I got all mine done and the new bracket on. Finally no more squealing and I love the power. She put down 600 HP to the wheels and 505 ftlbs I was very impressed with the numbers and the way it pulls.

Wow! Smoking. Anything else besides the blower done? Where did you get your custom tune?

I have the boss intake, jlt CAI, o/r h, custom flowmaster and other misc mods. I love the power and the way it comes on and keeps on pulling. I got it tuned at stanghi in Baton Rouge.
