UPPER CONTROL ARM- has anyone done this mod without other suspension parts?

There has been a lot written on the wheelhop problems with these cars...it seems to me that many folks are starting to blame the stock upper control arm as the main source of the problem, while others blame busings, spring geometry, etc.

Has anyone tried JUST replacing the UCA? Did it cure the hop?

Do you think it could do the trick?

Thanks for any insight on this question.

I'm trying to keep my car as stock as possible. I have made a few changes here and there but for now, I'm really happy with it. The wheelhop is horrendous though. I can't afford (nor do I want to) swap out lower control arms, relocate the spings, etc if I don't have to...

Yes. You're right on the money. This is all you need. I had the Roush Stop-the-hop UCA and mount (with stock LCAs) on my 07 and my 11 and haven't gotten wheel hop once with this setup.

This is really promising.
Did you install it yourself?
Heading to Roush's web site now...

Yeah it's fairly straight forward. The only hard part is the bolt under the back seat for the UCA mount is torqed to about 7,000 ft/lbs from the factory. Make sure you have a breaker bar and long pipe handy.
