Tune From UPR - Anyone Using Them

Would appreciate any info on experiences with UPR and their Tunes. I've been reading some positive comments about them on several forums.

I'm bouncing around like a ping pong ball trying to decide what, if anything, to do. Keep it stock, do a tune only, tune & cai, SCT, Procal, etc. I see where UPR advertises free tunes for life like Bama. I'm not a racer, just sorta wanting something for better throttle response, low end pep, but most importantly SAFE.

Thanks for any and all info.

If you are on the fence I would suggest holding off on getting a tune for a while longer. There have been issues with tunes causing engine damage to a number of cars, specifically broken #8 pistons. This damage appears to be specific to tunes, and is not being covered under warranty. It took at least 6-12 months for this issue to become apparent. I would give the tuners more time to learn what is truly safe to do with these engines.

UPR has a great tune. Very safe with a AF at 12.0. Very smooth and pulls hard through the whole band. Jeremy Marterolla is tuning for them. I really like Lund, UPR, VMP tunes the most. HP/TQ gains are all about the same. Lund tune drives like stock but pulls like a freight train. UPR has better throttle response and low end grunt but the Lund will put you side ways going into second without DR's.
