why do you say that. It adds benifit as long as you not getting a 90mm without forced air induction. I put in an 85mm and noticed a big difference. Grant it that if you have restricted out flow the inflow effects will be limited.

I think it was worth it also especially coupled with the Boss mani, I have the Accufab 84.5 which is considered the best by alot of guys and coupled with the mani throttle response is awesome

I ask the question because I have read a lot of people that say without FI anything more than stock TB is waste of $. I only have CAI and full exhaust and don't have a boss intake either so not sure if its worth $400.

Throttle bodies are a supporting mod. Money can be spent elsewhere for better gains before buying a TB.

I have an 85mm TB. At the time I was just doing some easy bolt-on mods without spending crazy money. I figured it wouldn't hurt to have one with the nitrous kit and if I put a Procharger on sometime down the road. It's not hurting anything now, might free up a hp or 2 if anything.

I also have often wondered if a TB upgraded is in order. Can anyone post up dyno data with before and after upgrading the TB? Perhaps it only free's up a few HP at the top ranges. However sometimes low-mid range gains are more significant. Which would show up on a Dyno.
