Recently ordered some ground control cc plates from jay at hypermotive performance. Started the install Sunday when I had an issue getting them to fit. I sent jay an email and within just a few minutes he calls me and explained the issue was ground control sent me a part that was for the 05-10 model and not the 11+. I wasn't expecting him to respond until Tuesday since it was Sunday and MLK was Monday. They overnight them to me. So yesterday I get back to installing them. I started to tighten the four nuts when I get to the last one and as I'm torquing it the stud snaps off. At this point I wanted to throw my torque wrench at the car lol. I contact jay and see if he has any tips on what I can do. He immediately responds and has them send me the parts needed. I was not expecting this at all! I'm in the maintenance field and was expecting to have to fork up more money to fix it, which I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever since it broke while I was installing it. Their customer service was some of the best I've ever dealt with. I had brenspeed send me roush wheels with one dented pretty bad and they made it seem like it was my fault and took months before they sent me a replacement. I've had other manufacturers seem to forget about me once I spent money on their products. I'm completely blown away on how fast they respond and how they have treated me. Definitely something I wanted to share.

Yea Jay is top notch! I wish they had more v6 parts as I would go to him for parts first. Jay gives better customer service than anyone else in the biz. He always gets back to you no matter what day it is. A.M. which everyone says is the best would be a distant second imo.

The great thing is I don't think anyone has or can complain about Hypermotive. I needed a part that I was told by another vendor was not possible to get, Jay called me while I believe he had the plague and said he had them in stock and sent them out. Top notch.

Good to hear stuff like this about our vendors.
Not only do they take care of their customers, but they are also very knowledgeable in our Mustangs!
Good job Hypermotive.

Thamac (op), thanks for posting this. This resonates with what you and I were pm'ing about the other week. Good news like this should always be spread. Keep it up. Am glad you had a great experience.

Jay, reading things like this makes me think I should have bought my blower and rims from you guys . Sorry. Next time. First hand experience too, my emails, questions on phone and posts on this thread were answered PROMPTLY and respectfully right away through you or Dan. Thank you.

Honestly (to call out the elephant in the room), you make AM look REALLY BAD. Have you been keeping track of that other "bama fail" thread? If not take a peek. It's pathetic. They just don't "get it". You do. What I really find hilarious though? They think all customers (some are dumb enough) want "free" stuff, and that'll keep them happy or shut them up about their previously bad experience there. If anything, being offered stupid free stuff is insulting. Free stuff is damage control at that point. You've already pissed off your customer. What a backwards business motto. And some folks call that "bending over backwards for their customers". Really? Come on. They don't get that actually, what customers want is customer service... Simple as that. They want courteous service in a timely response, with a fair price on a product that does what it's supposed to do. Simple. That in itself will retain them. And then free advertising by first hand experience. So simple.

Keep that excellent customer service going. I'll need new parts soon enough.

Same here, I wish I had known about them when I bought my blower kit 2 years ago. I have a little over $5k left for this year on mods and jay will be the man. I couldn't even imagine going somewhere else now.

Not only that, but Jay and crew KNOW what they are talking about and have the "Mustang" knowledge. That is a HUGE factor for me as well.

Thanks again guys! As for the AM issue, I'll keep my personal opinion aside. They're a big company which has grown exponentially in a very short amount of time. I actually read their history and did a lot of digging, in the end its impressive but I'll keep it at that I try my best to stay out of stuff regarding other company's issues, I read and learn from their mistakes.

As for the Magnuson, nope, we haven't looked into selling them but its always a possibility!

As for experience, most of the parts I sell, I've personally had my hands on, installed, tested and wrote down what I liked/ disliked about it. We just picked up Paxton/ Vortech and although I haven't personally ran one yet I have someone on my staff who has installed quite a few and has one on his own car.

We may not have all the accolades that a lot of other companies have or broken records but honestly, we truly don't have the time. I finally have a guy on my staff who is ETSing from the Air Force Monday (Dan), he's our sales manager and very knowledgeable.

We're growing at a rate I've never expected, I'm still astonished at the amount of support we have received in such a short amount of time. Once this procurement/ building process on our new facility is done, you guys will start seeing a lot more involvement of Hypermotive in both Road Course and drag racing... competitively!

Again, thanks guys for the kind words. It truly makes the hard work we put into this worth it!

Awww come on jay, you can tell us what you REALLY think of them

As for the accolades, don't worry about that. You guys keep running your business the way do, and the accolades will find you.

Keep it up.

Ps no worries about the magnuson. Besides, I don't need 2 at the moment . I might need suspension components soon though.

I got all my suspension stuff from Jay you won't go wrong with price and fast shipping. I'll also jump on bandwagon and say that I've never dealt with any vendor that responds to email so quickly.
I'm going to be pulling the trigger one my last semi big cost items soon and I'll be getting from them.

Yep most of my suspension came from Hypermotive on Jay's recommendation and I love my setup. Comfortable but still handles great. Still need to pick up a UCA, mount & 1 piece driveshaft, all of which I will get from Jay.

Like many people said, Jay is the absolute man. He'll answer pm/emails very promptly and even on weekends. He truly cares about his customer and will give you the TRUTH about a part you are buying and not just tell you what you want to hear. The pricing is outstanding and customer service is second to none.

Hey Jay, I noticed you mentioned you are actually opening up a new facility. Where is it gonna be located? You should think about hosting a grand opening car show or something. If you're or have a dyno maybe have a dyno day or something as well. If its on a weekend I may cruise down from NJ and take a visit. I know a bunch of my buddies would probably be down as well. Just something to think about. You're the man Jay!

PS - got my hoodie yesterday, its awesome. Trying to keep warm in this single digit weather!
