SUPERCHARGED BOSS
I know this guy who is telling me that, he is gonna make 750hp with just adding a supercharger. I don't believe that can be done without headwork & cylinder bore and better exhaust. Any Comments on this guys ?

Twin turbo setup can easily get you 700-800hp to the rear wheels.
So it could be possible with a vortech or other centerfugal superchargers.

A member here has done it with a Vortec blower. Should be no problem on a stock Boss motor. I would put headers and exhaust on it though.

Boss's already have head work, and as many have said it seems to be really easy for them to make power if your forcing air into them.

Sounds like Boss has alot better internals than a GT ! I think he said he was using a BKM or something like it.

My mechanic put a custom TT on his GT. Only other performance mods were the boss intake manifold, cat deletes, and GT500 mufflers. He made 700+whp and 750wtq. Stock internals. I'd imagine it could easily be done on a boss which has better flowing heads and slightly bigger cams.

Don't know if it has been seen yet, think JPC built a 1200+ wheel Boss and it may have had stock internals, http://mustangforums.com/articles/20...horsepower.php couldn't find the actual article.
So if I wanted 800-1000whp, what would I need to do?
crate engine
FI setup and tune
tranny
rear end
what else?

Buy a Boss and slap a 2.9L whipple kit on it. Headers and a tune and 800 should be possible all day long.

Hell yeah. If you drag race and use slicks, you're gonna snap something but it should be fine otherwise. It will require drag radials or road race rear tires to even enjoy the car though. I believe 800 is a reachable goal on the Boss though. I recommend a large blower though. 2.9-3.4L blower just to keep boost pressure down as low as possible and still get tons of airflow. Turbos will work also but it's just a lot more work, heat, and tuning issues. Along with exhaust restrictions that I personally don't agree with.
