Speak up about Barton bracket !

After only six days of ownership of my first Mustang, this 2014 GT is far exceeding my expectations. It is one great ride. Most of us are all aware of the quality and function of the MGW shifter, but my question is to those that made the change to the Barton shifter bracket only. What, if any, improvement to you see over the stock Ford bracket ? Was it significant enough to invest the effort, and are you satisfied with the results ?

Thanks for the input CD. That helps a lot. As mine shifts well now and I have little need for really aggressive usage, the Barton looks like just the thing to fine tune it.

I have the Barton short shifter but the stock bracket and no helper spring and I like the mechanical feel. I will still get the 2 post bracket but for now I like what I have when I bang through the gears.

I have the regular Barton bracket sitting in the basement waiting for install. At the rate this winter is disappearing here in Michigan it will take another month or so before I can put it on and drive it regularly. I'll check in after I have it installed.
