I bought a white cue-ball style from Am Muscle even before I got the car. It took a couple of tries but I was able to undo it by hand.

I have the 401A also, so you won't need the retainer.

Nice, so all I need is the ball itself? No jam nut, retainer etc

Check out the cue ***** from Epco. That is where I got mine. The make them in two diameters and I bought the larger one since I have a very large hand. My color is Ivory with only the shift pattern because I thought it looked vintage. Lots of designs and colors.
The adapter will need to be purchase separately.

I love my 401a interior. But the Metal shifter **** is a ***** in the Florida heat. But I love the metal in my hand I already purchase a 400 ****. I am looking for a nice peace of Leather to make a cover when I'm not driving it. Hope that works..
